The Hendersonville Chorale

The Hendersonville Chorale is proud to announce the appointment of Timothy Shepard as the new Music Director. Mr. Shepard was the guest conductor for the Fall 2009 season when the chorale presented the Rutter "Gloria" with a brass ensemble. He is the Director of Music at First United Methodist Church in Brevard and the Director of the Blue Ridge Sacred Chorale, an auditioned choir that performs concerts throughout the year.

The mission of the Hendersonville Chorale is to to serve as a non-profit organization of singers whose talents help spread the enjoyment and inspiration of music throughout the community.

Currently the Chorale serves members from all over Henderson County, ranging in ages from singers in their teens to singers in their 90’s.  The Chorale also sponsors two vocal scholarships to local high school seniors a year.
