The Hendersonville Children’s Chorus 2010 Spring Season Concert - April 23, 2010 Registration will be held on site at Covenant Presbyterian Church (2101 Kanuga Rd.) on . To pre-register, HERE and print the registration sheet. Mail the sheet and your registration fee to: The Hendersonville Choral, PO BOX 2914, Hendersonville, NC 28793. For more information please contact Judy McLendon at 696-4968. Any child between the ages of 6 – 13, with a desire to sing may register and join the choir. When are rehearsals and concerts? Rehearsals are on Mondays 4:30 – 5:30pm, January 25th – April 19th. The fall concert will be on Friday, April 23rd at Covenant Presbyterian Church (2101 Kanuga Rd.). What is the level of commitment required? Singers are expected to participate fully in the choir program. This means weekly rehearsals, as well as performances throughout the year. We will cover a wide variety of styles and cultures through our music. What is the cost? Tuition fees are $25 per semester (a $50.00 family cap). Tuition Covers: high caliber musical instruction and vocal training, music, folders, supplies, mailings, notices, conductor and accompanist. Tuition is non-refundable and due by the first rehearsal. Financial aid is available based on economic need. Other expenses include: Uniforms- A $10.00 chorus T-shirt and khaki pants/skirts; Concert Tickets– Choristers are encouraged to sell tickets to the Choir’s concerts. Tickets are $5.00/adults and $2.50 for students; Parent Campaign Parents (or their businesses) may make a tax-deductible contribution to the choir, to be acknowledged in the program. The mission of the Hendersonville Children’s Choir is to make available a high quality, educational, and affordable choral experience for the children of Henderson County. |
